Let's see your boat!

This is my 1995 Campion Victoria 215 that I bought August 2020. A major interior refresh followed soon after. Good bones to work with fortunately. Powered by a 2005 Optimax 225 and Yamaha 9.9 hi-thrust kicker. Learning to appreciate the Optimax.

I ripped out the ceiling liner and hull carpets. Removed, sanded, painted and replaced the galley, seat bases, updated the lighting, and most of the wiring. Photos show what I brought home, the tear-down and the new interior. Upgraded the old sounder/fish finder but kept the old radar cause it works well enough for now.

Awesome makeover. Nice work

I sold my Wellcraft V-21 steplift two years ago and still heart broken. A great boat and was my introduction to salt water adventures being the Captain. I can't say enough about the ride and stability of it. My only wish was that I'd had the funds to redo the transom extend the pod another foot and drop a 175 four stroke on her.

Hey Everyone, though I would use this thread to introduce myself. Though I am from the Lower Mainland (Squamish) originally, I recently relocated back to the coast after 7 years up in Dawson Creek. We are now way up the island in Port McNeill. Looking out at the ocean through the window from the house every day made me decide pretty quickly that a boat was needed. I've never been a boat owner and of course, I get into the past time during the most expensive time ever. Ended up looking into a lightly used 2017 Silver Streak Race Rocks 17' HT with a 90 Suzuki with 100 hours on it that looked to be a great deal compared to BC prices. It was located in Washington state at a dealer but after lots of careful planning, a deal was made and we picked her up yesterday and imported it into Canada. It seems like a beauty little boat and I think it will be a great first boat for us. No action shots yet but here are a few photos from when we picked it up. This forum is a wealth of knowledge that I used to research my first boat purchase so I would like to thank everyone for that. Cheers.

Nice looking boat but I hope it isn't being parked in the first picture. You won't have it long!! At the very least you'll lose your kicker and maybe your main.

Yes first off sweet little boat man.

But I was just thinking the same thing. Easy theft, parts and boat and pretty scary spot for getting smoked by a vehicle as well.

That is the parking spot where it will live. Taking the place of the boat from the previous house owners who parked a boat there as well. It's a quiet street in a quiet town so I'm not too concerned about a collision, no more than the vehicles or the house itself really. Hopefully theft is not an issue. Again, very quiet town with very little of that issue, at least for now. I've got a couple decent theft deterrents installed but certainly some experiences thieves would get past them with enough time and tools.

Learned some time ago that the insurance is worth it on expensive toys. So, I should be covered if something bad were to happen. Would be a tough time to find a replacement though! Thanks for the comments, it definitely is a risk worth considering.

What happened to that Pursuit with the zukes you were rocking?
sold it to another member, with gas prices climbing and as much solo fishing i like to, cruising at 20gph was not up my alley.
also needed to free up some dough in case i want to pull the trigger on some property.. into this for less than a third of the cost of the pursuit.

2006 legend 20 Xtreme. I bought it in April this year. 2006 merc 115 four stroke. I have put a brand new Yamaha 9.9 on. Cleaned up some electrical, new bilge pump, and splashwell covers. She lives in Prince Rupert. I had to include my 35 lb Ling and my wife’s 30lb hali. It has been a very fun summer so far..
