Last minute trip to Port Alberni, where do I go with no boat?

Last second trip to Port Alberni for work. Left early this AM and only there a couple days. I probably won’t have time to fish but just in case I do I brought my river tackle and bait casting rod. If I can somehow find an hour for a few casts I definitely wont have time to explore so looking for some intel. Please PM me if you can help me out. Second question would be where’s best place to buy fish if I can’t catch any?

Yep, there is some openings but being from out of the area I was hoping a local could point me in the general direction.

Don’t know about river fishing there however the commercial fleet has been out so buying fish if necessary shouldn’t be difficult.
