Question ... if you are out trolling for salmon and a pod of Orcas come by - do you pick up
and leave or just keep trolling for the 20 ish min it takes for them to come over and swim by?
I assume the scatter the salmon ... will the salmon return if the "spot" is good and the bait
is there or will it take a while and your best bet is to move on?
I have fished off areas where there were lots of sea lions on the shore and in the water and
there were lots of salmon too - which surprised me that the salmon didn't scatter when a
predator like a sea lions is around ... so I got to thinking about the Orca scenario.
Thoughts?
