How do you go about getting parts for mr2 and mr3 I need some bearings and the teeth on the drag cork are fairly worn down

Don't take your reel to PNT to get it fixed, the guy they have is too good - it will work better than ever -nobody wants a reel that actually works.

Pnt in Rupert doesn’t even have parts

You can drop it off or mail it to Islander in Victoria. They will do a full reconditioning and mail it back to you - maybe even under warranty. You pay the shipping charges. Information is on their website.

Awesome, glad that worked out for you. PNT Parksville does stock parts for Islander and many other saltwater reels. PNT offers a fatalistic in house maintenance and repair service for most popular reels. Islander, Amundson, shimano, daiwa, avet, accurate, trophy, penn, others.
