Island water levels at 25 year low

Not a total surprise but I heard on the Q news today that some of the rivers around Cowichan and Renny are at a 25 year low. Yikes! Those poor little summers...

Not only LOW LOW but bloody HOT! Went up to the Ash yesterday afternoon in an attempt to escape the disabling heat in Port. Surface temperature in that trickle was a bathtub 28 degrees! More than a handful of DOA coho fry, and saw a few handfuls of SunFish... OUCH!

Praying for a little relief, both for the flows and their fish, as well as us two-legs sweltering ashore...
