What are the hot lakes right now on vancouver island?DOesnt really mater for what type of fish. Ive been away all winter so i dont have a clue. Can anyone help me?
Horne Lake I know very well. No bass, just trout (Cuts browns and the odd rainbow). Troll deep with spoons right now for sort-of acti9on, but in June when the black ants are hatching, it's a meat market using anything you want from shore (Powerbait was a fav from my 'Rents dock) The river that comes in near the Adventure camground carves new channels every spring, and you will do very well for trout in 5 feet of water near any cover.

Good fishing at Durrance Lake here in Vic. No real lunkers but I nailed 17 last time I was there just by drifting with some power eggs at the bottom
