Is This A Good Spot?

Me and my family are planning to go to Cougar Creek for a couple days. Is the gravel road really that bad and how is the boat launch? (Honsestly its are first time up there so any helpful tips will do.)

It's Vancouver island there are bears everywhere.Cougar Creek could be very crowded.Try Tahsis,gold river,or Zeballos.At least there in towns.there is also a fish camp near cougar creek.Sorry I don't recall the name??
