Roy is right. I have left it too long because I love fishing and I hate boat maintenance. But now I desperately need something to clean up the bird droppings because elbow grease wont work any more.

Thanks for the helpful advice. I tried FSR but it failed miserably much to my surprise. My research has come up with 2 more alternatives: Starbrite Bird and Spider dropping remover: and Vanusol. Has anyone tried either product?

how about a pressure washer?????

Once it sits for a while it leaves a a purplish stain that penetrates the gel coat to a point where basic scrubbing and pressure washing won't touch it. Well at least it did on my fibreglass in a spot where it sat in a spot i did not catch for a while during the winter.

Thats exactly what its done even with a water hose beside the boat, I think the glasply is afraid of fresh water...or the owner

Boatlife powdered fibreglass cleaner is the most powerful i have found
