How much is too much (tackle)?

If I retired every plug, spoon, hoochie and teaser head after it caught a fish, it would likely take me several lifetimes to get through my horde.

New Years resolution....don’t buy any tackle this year. Let’s see if I make it to April.

When I try to pick a few proven winners to take out when I fish on someone else's boat, I have a hell of a time.
Maybe that's why I like to fish solo. Just me and the storage totes. I often change lures after I catch one. I gots to know what else might work.
