I won't be able to keep up with the commander build but I know some of you are wondering what happened to the 26 Snydermobile
Well it's been a long time in the making have had some unforseen things in life happen.
But she is slowly getting getting closer to being in the water.
Had some troubles finding power for her.
But the motors are waiting to be installed.
Here's the latest pictures.

What do you think drill a hole In the bulkhead for steering and wiring or drill a hole in the gunnel and side of the console

for context: is this a rear helm station?

Also: is there going to be glass installed on the aft of the cabin? sight lines can be a pain sometimes

Yes this is the rear helm station

All the wires and cables inside the cabin would be under the counter top

you need them get them to weld a tab to hold a zinc
Just out of curiosity, I have an aluminum pod that has been powder coated and I dont believe I have an anodes on the pod itself. I store it in the water year round and it sounds like I should add a zinc to mine as well?

you can drill/tap a hole through and then run a bolt out from the inside using a large washer and lots of sikaflex to seal, would recommend a fender washer and nut on the outside as well and then attach your anode to this “stud” or studs depending which style you choose. Contact needs to be made for it to be effective so the threads provide this.

Absolutely

As you can see all you need is a tab welded like this on the bottom of the pod then get a round zinc or a square one also bond it to your trim tabs any metal should be bonded so your pod and trim tabs dont get destroyed.
