you need to switch whatever basemap you are currently using to sonarcharts.

I’ll try again when I’m back at the boat this weekend
Not sure it has anything to do with the transducer
I think it’s a charting issue
Does the card have to be activated or registered by navionics
The chart plotter was a second had purchase and the navionics card came with it

I think it’s a software issue. I upgraded to a Lowrance Elite FS this spring, and bought a Navionics SD card to go with it, (my phone and iPad already had Navionics so I wanted to stay with what I knew.) The Navionics card wouldn’t work until I put it in a PC and registered and loaded data from Navionic’s website. As far as I know the C-MAPs included in the Lowrance I bought won’t work either until you go online and register it and download the charts. C-MAPS are built in to my Lowrance so it’ll need to be one with wifi in order to go online. Your situation may be different, I‘m just relaying what happened with me.

I have the elite 7hdi and seem to recall something like that
I’ll giv it a go this weekend
