Good article in the Seattle Times the part that states;
“The Canadians are not in agreement with the U.S. over their share of the responsibility. That is where the rub is,” said Bob Alverson, a Washington fishing-industry official who is one of three U.S. commissioners.
Wonder if Bob represents the Washington Trawl Fleet who are annually throwing millions of pounds of dead halibut by catch over the side. The group even the Alaskan long liners acknowledge are a major environmental disaster.Also notice the article fails to mention the American harvest is huge compared to the Small percentage allocated to Canada?How Trumpish!
