Depends what kind of fishing you like to do. If you want to fish tidal water your best bet is probally ambleside near the mouth of the capilano river in west vancouver. I've never fished from shore there myself so you might have to ask around for best methods, However if fishing from shore is your thing I would stick to the rivers, the pinks are running this year and fishing success is very high in some of the major rivers like the harrison, Just look at the map and try different spots on the harrison in a few more weeks use a small pink spinner or fly and you will catch loads of fish.
