Recently moved to Maple Ridge and have been taking the West Coast train to work each day. I've noticed salmon jumping and surfacing near Port Haney. My 2 boys would love me to take them fishing and noticed there was a warf there. Not really an experienced river fisherman, but would love to try. Is it within the regulations at the moment and what would work best to try to hook into a fish there for gear? Thanks for your help.
