Fishing Douglas channel and area

Hello I always fish the prince rupert area and have never had much luck in kitimat I was wondering if any one wanted to help point me in the right direction as to some halibut spots out kitimat and I can provide info for out Rupert.

To get to good hali spots you almost need to be at the mouth of the Douglas Chanel, there are some hali towards Fishtrap and Bishop bay areas, but they are quite a longer run out

Early early in the season there are Hali up toward Kitimat but folks out of Hartley Bay hit them hard and returns aren't what they were-this from people who live in HB.

I've had to run as far as Rennison Island to find fish and some years they aren't there so who knows.

Have hooked a few down fish trap/ bishop bay only chickens though. Any info on sue channel?

I would offer some info, but I am just beginning to explore this area. So far info you have is accurate. I will be doing the area again this summer.
