Ever Caught A Blue Rockfish in BC?

Well I've caught, killed, eaten most of 'em but this Blue Rockfish I've never seen.

Blue Rockfish are pretty much the same fish as the Black Rockfish you find them in the same areas and they school just like the Blackrockfish (Black Bass). We used to catch lots of them off Bluden and Bartlett Islands in Tofino.

blue rockfish are lighter coloured and smaller mouthed otherwise just like black rockfish. a lot of the black rockfish at renfrew are actually blue rockfish
