Electric over hydraulic brake actuator

Hey so I just replaced all my bearings brakes spindles everything attached to the tires essentially on my tri axle trailer.
Half way through the bleeding process my titan pump seized.
Is there any certain brands I should be staying away from. Or a cheaper brand that people arnt having problems with

Replaced a 12 year old hydrastar 2 years ago. Good system as far as im concerned

I’ve heard from an informed source that 5 years is all you get out of any of them. I use hydrastar too. 5 years outta the first one. On year 5 of the second one.

Hydrastar has been ok for me. I had water egress in through the front electrical connection and it fried the main board. Looking back I should have used some dielectric grease to stop anything from getting in. Island Spring in ladysmith sells any parts so that’s nice. I would buy one again. Another important thing is to cover them religiously when not in use, been told this a from a couple different trailer places. I just throw a large garbage bag over the whole front end of the trailer and it works.

I now bungee a garbage can over the front of my trailer.
Keeping out of the weather has helped.
