You know its super easy to gel that up if you ever wanted to do it. I would just get a couple rubber mats. Wear looks good on a boat. If you wanted to you could spray gel easily. I have done some auto repair work with two part hardener polyurethane and clearcoat. You go down to harbor freight in Bellingham and get a good HPLV gun and you can do it.
