going up island for the long weekend, staying at union bay.. would there be any fishing/prawning up that way? cant seem to find anything in the reports... or should i just hit comox lake? any tips would be much appreciated.. cheers.

Outside of Hornby and down off Flora Is are producing a few. Comox lake is not worth the effort if you are not familiar with the better spots . BTW-- a recent survey of anglers on the lake had an average daily catch of .5 of a fish----- Thats right..1/2 a fish average. Also new regs are in effect for the lake--
