Daiwa 275 trolling?

Just picked up another bomb proof 275 out of Bremerton Washington. $99 ca total. Also a 275 DX out of Japan which should be arriving soon. Don't know anything about the DX's. Thought I'd check it out. Anyone know anything about them?
Looks the same as the one I got at a garage sale for 20 $. You'll love it

The 275 DX arrived. Here's a few pics. Pretty much identical to the original silver 275 as far as I can tell. Only difference is its black with silver & green logo. Same dimensions, weight, guts, line capacity. Works and sounds like a 275! 550 yards 25 lb test. Not bad.

For reel history buffs.....anyone know some Daiwa reel history? There's the silver 275. I know of the 275B, 275 DX, SG375 graphite, DC375 graphite (line counter), M One & Two. Are there other models? Can't find much history or when any of the above came out.

I was just given a set of Diawa 275 rods and reels, came from a garage "barn" find. original owner had a 12ft lund on a trailer custom built at E&H Hitch in Beresford, with a 10hp Honda 4-stroke. all dated from 1984. used for two trips, parked in garage for nearly 40yrs.

one of the reels is still lined. fortunately the drags were backed off. think I'll take them into the local shop and get one re-wound to give them a try.
