Courtenay/Campbell River Reports ?

Hoping to head out tomorrow and I was just wondering if anybody has any reports in these areas? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Also has anyone tried those flashing L.E.D lures? They kinda look like just another gimmick.

I'd say gimmick, after all what flashs naturally like an led that salmon normally eat. Maybe I'm wrong, try it and share the results.
