Just wondering when the Coho start to show up around Vancouver/Bowen etc.? We got a jack last time out and keeping a 30cm (Reg.) sized guy seems too small to me.

If you got one it seems as though they've shown up.
I've only ever fished for coho in late summer when they're stacked at the river.

Cap stocks have been monkeyed with over the years and there's a small component of fish showing up as early as April as you've found but given abysmal returns overall I wouldn't waste a cupful of gas trying to find more.
It's a Pink year and they'll be here starting late July and some of those will be misidentified as Coho with some few actually being Coho.
Usually not until June in any kind of #s. The last few years it has picked up off Bowen in late June.
