Coho at Port Renfrew

I am going out for 4 days of fishing on Monday July 21st.

Has anyone encountered Coho out towards the Swiftsure in the last short while? If so, where abouts?

Last year I chased around and couldn't find any and got back to the dock to hear people saying they had trouble getting their lines through the Coho on the other side of the bank.

I am happy to go out and catch and release, I just want the fun of active fishing with light tackle.

I have been out there the last 4 days and have not found them. Look for some better action as we get some bigger flood tides in soon. Last coho I was in touch with was on Canada day.
