Can anyone please tell me the pros and cons of the new Bradley digital smoker over the non-digital one? Try to decide if it’s worth the extra money.

You may actually be better off to get the original one and get an aftermarket temperature and smoke controller. They have up to six programs and are accurate to less than one degree. The Bradley Digital can have temperature swings of up to 20 degrees. This may not be so important with brisket and such, but is more important with sausage and cheese and fish among others. The cost either way is about equal. Don't forget to get a spacer disk to ensure that you don't waste the last bisquette each time.

I have found the digital disappointing - like lowtide says temperature swings, plus the temp doesn't go low enough for cold smoking. Same crappy quality.
