A pro v and an ovean pro are totally different boats. They are not comparables.

My old riveted aluminum boat is going to sink I think... I realize that I don't want to take my son out on it... I wanted to hold out until I was ready for my 26-28' offshore cabin boat, but I need something sooner... Thinking of a capable +/-22' boat... maybe a CC... I want self bailing, prefer VI built... might go new... appreciate leads.

Put a deposit down n go. Prince George, east to Vanderfoot, north to Ft. St. James. Trailer apparently is a new double axle. Great to tow it home with.

Not sure if this is the Pro version, but it is the outboard model at a reasonable price point. Doing a motor swap might be something to consider.

I'm considering it for sure... coming from the Island it makes for a long trip though... 1000 clicks each way plus ferry... maybe make it a 3 day trip total. Anyway, I messaged him, see what he says...
