Those Opti’s could have a lot of life left in them.
My parts engine is a 2005 200HP Opti that I got from Prince of Whales whale watching when they re-powered with 4-strokes.
It had 2,600 hours when it was taken off and was still running well:

Might have lots of life in them but you will need to take out a second mortgage to pay for the opitmax oil…

Might, but even if someone likes 2 strokes of that era parts and repairs are expensive. With no trailer, you have to haul out, trim repair on one engine was 5k+ before the pandemic at a local dealer.

I’ll second the hull deserving some recognition; that model is a tank. I fished from one when Doug Rodgers had one in his fleet. I was actually the last client of his in that boat but that’s a story for another time.
