Those don't do well with a single. Plenty of power but they are bad in a following sea. Even with added weight in the transom they still make your stomach uneasy. Built for twins.

Interesting same for all big whalers or specifically the smaller 23 conquest? There is a 90’s 25 walk through with a new 300 zuki that has been sitting.
No idea about the 25. Was speaking of the 23 Conquest. Nice boat but it doesn't preform in a sea with a single the way you expect a whaler to (and I like me a whaler).

That’s true for older 23 conquests but this version of a 23 conquest isn’t available in a twin application only single. It’s a completely different transom design from the previous one.
Interesting. Well, I eat my words then. Hope it rides better then the 2000 rendition. Thanks for the correction.

Agree 100%. I have a 115 on mine which is the same block as the 90. Don't use the top end which is the major difference.

Probably need a new trailer, too but maybe not. Will be right at the 6500 line.

Looks like it used to have a new merc 300 on it that was recently listed for trade on here by a member... starts with an s, ends with an r
