I think you should at least go take it for a run to see how the pod has affected the ride/handling of it.
I'd love to but he's in Williams Lake and it's sitting on a trailer. Plus I don't think he's interested in taking me out for fun. I'm not interested in buying and he knows that.
 
Very nice to look at indeed! A bigger number on those outboards would be nice though.

honestly, that boat would be a dog with 3 guys, fuel, gear, ice... twin 200's at a minimum. i have seen these set up with single 300 and its horrible..

Twin 150s has way more displacement than a single 300. Would get out of the whole much better and has the benefit of two props. I think it would be fine for most folks. Those 150s have more displacement than a 200 yam or suzuki anyhow.
