So...how'd you do? We got a 45lb hali on the bank Sat. Pretty slow so trolled for salmon....bunch of smallies.
Fished Camper Sun. bunch of 8-10lb's, 2 leaders bit right through and a 15lb. Fun stuff....just need some bigger fish!
We turned back on Sat as the rollers were getting a little big for my Malibu 182 and the forcast was for stronger winds. Sunday we pounded out and it took us two hours. One small chicken was all we got in the boat and a bunch of coho. they were thick out there and you could see them in the swells. Monday we caught a nice 30 pounder off Owen and a couple smaller ones that we kept.
All in all still a good trip and can't wait to get back. It only gets better. I heard a 52 pounder came in yesterday too.
