Any News From Bamfield or 7 Mile Bank???

Heading out on Wed. July 25th just wondering how the fishing has been around Bamfield and 7 mile bank?

fished diploc, mears bluff and pill pt last week over 3 days.... only got one good spring 26# at diploc over the 3 days caught at 63 ft but when we were leaving the marina on our last day, we heard most big fish were deep... deeper than 100' (about 100' to 180' !!!) dont know if this is true but, i would try outside right now

Fished the wall last Tuesday. Put in 6 hours completely dead except for shaker springs and small wild coho.

A coworker of mine spent Saturday and Sunday fishing out of Bamfield. Too rough to get outside. Two days of hard fishing...9 fish, largest 8lbs. They fished mostly the Wall with anchovies.

Hopefully a wave of fish will show up this week as we're heading up on Friday.
