Put together a short documentary with that footage and put that on TV at prime time. Let the commercial's spin their way out of that one. BC doesn't do that anymore but it still goes on to the north of us and halibut swim across borders, unless they are dead.

It has happened since and they are trying to curtail the problem.....Will they, I doubt it? Those junk draggers kill off ecosystems for the simple reason that it takes a lot of white fish meat to fuel the world.. They are not allowed to keep Halis so that happens

And they are by law required to buy quota from instead of throwing it back dead. Alaska should move in the same direction.

the alaskan halibut fleet was just at iphc and were pretty much begging for some political push from canada to help get there govt off their asses and bring in better accounting to help clean up the mess you just watched. for those that like to write letters there is another good place to focus.
