2021 Bamfield and Barkley Sound Reports

we got hailed on 5 times or more, sunburned, windburned, rained, snowed on, monsoons, lightning, and rainbows! herring season!!
-be nice if the ocean settled.
Nice. The weather sure doesn’t know what it wants to do. Long as we can get out and fish. , I’ll take the rain, snow, and what ever. I could use some sunshine though. Good luck out there .

The road was a little muddy going into the nook. But I had a great run up the channel. Got the girls all settled in. And my son are sitting on the anchor off shore. What a nice afternoon out here.

good luck!

Well my son and my two granddaughters went and fished Assits this morning and the 12:30 tide change. This morning we released 4 under size springs. Had two other good hits , but they kept going  this afternoon we released another 4 springs. Lots of bait in area. Everything was on a cop car skinny G, and herring aid skinny G ,7 ft leaders, behind a green onion flashers at 74 to 84feet. It turned out to be a great weekend.:)

Well my son and I are sitting on the hook offshore. Not to bad weather wise, a little lumpy. Trying to get the first Hali of the season. :)
