Caught a 28 possible tyee at t10 today 73'. Pics to follow later. Started 6am to about 4. Bite died off after 2pm.

Out at Sandheads since 4 and have 2 in the box. Both on chovies, 77 & 69 on the riggers.

At Sandheads today beauty day out with a friend and his son.
33 pound white at 7 am, 350 ft, 50 on rig, red flasher, anchovy.
Put 17 white in the box later.
Tangled with a crab trap later on....good thing it wasn't rough...lol

Tough go at SH today. Lost a bunch. Seal problems. Hooked a crab trap. My dad got this good one though! Like I said earlier. 30.2.

Tyee is a bad day???? Some of us have yet to get a tyee lol

Haha. Sorry it was a great day. Just had so many things go wrong. But thats fishing and I would happily do it all over again. That's our second tyee down at sand heads. Feel very lucky!

You can try Steveston Marine on the bypass. Otherwise Berry’s in Richmond is your best bet.

Not sure about that area but Canadian Tire sells anchovy’s on the Island

I can confirm Berrys had anchovies and herring in stock as of this afternoon. Bought some myself

About 930. Did a measure not a tyee but 27-28 with the roe.

the corner store at 208th and 96th ave in langley carry’s bait.

They only had two 10 packs of anchovies tho left when I was their two days ago.

Fishing Sandhead. Limited out 12 to 21 lbs.
7 reds , 1 wht. Hot in morning 7 to 830 am. Released wild cohoe. Got 3 , lost a 3. Slowed down, bite pickup around 4pm. Got last 2.
Got all Fishing 55 to 70 ft on rigger in aprox 200ft water. Med to large anchovies.

had to drive to pnt to pick one up, Barry’s was out of Coated and non coated. Pnt is sold out of coated but has lots of non coated.

sounded like a few crab traps out there are keeping the tackle stores busy

I did not loose mine to a crab trap, first thing on opening day i put it out and paaaa ting snapped the rigger cable. Must of had a kink in it. Stizzled

I'm going to be launching out of captains cove tomorrow and would be great if we could hook up with someone along the way for a 15lb finned rigger ball.
The flood tide isn't till the afternoon as well as calmer winds so we may run in to pnt and some lunch...
