Hoping to fish SH this afternoon, how are the conditions out there since the beacon is broken down.
You’d think they’d have fixed it by now it being one of the most dangerous places on the coast.

Hoping to do the same thinking to leave around dinner time. If anyone makes it out please report conditions cheers.

Surprised no one is talking about last night. Fished 5-7 PM North Arm. We were in 70-110 feet of water 45-55 on the riggers and hooked into 15+ fish. All on chovies but switched to plugs for fun and had a few hits on that as well. I had a few friends out and they had the same success, couldn't keep the rods in the water. Lost one beside the boat in the 20's everything else between 12-15ishlbs but aggressive fish and pulling a ton of line. Best fishing i have ever seen locally, heading back out tonight!

How were the water conditions? Looks like Halibut Bank buoy was reporting 0.5m waves with 13knot winds gusting up to 19knots, which is similar to right now today. Wondering what it's like out there...?

Herd from a local tackle store that, as of Friday the limit for Chinook is up to 2 as a daily limit
Can anyone confirm??
Yes it's been on the fisheries notice since Aug 1st. FN #0732

Let's just hope DFO didn't watch CTV News last night......the doom and gloom up river I think around Mission was ridiculous.

"There are no fish".

"This river would be full of boats and anglers from shore".

Uh.....CTV.....you know that fishing is closed and that's why there are no boats?:rolleyes: DFO would likely use that as a gauge to determine how many fish are in the river....their science, yet it's gangbusters in the chuck. o_O

How about wandering the river and looking at nets that are out there?????:mad::mad:

Sorry to derail......back to reports!!!!!
