It was the hardest hunt, both mentally and physically, I've ever done but very rewarding for my first elk
Took two hours from spotting them to hiking up 600m elevation, 5kms later I was in position to take a shot, had to wake him up from his nap to shoot him! Had a friend guiding me in via radio as he spotted for me from below
