Demco, high slack sucked for us the other night (Monday) at t10.... things can change in a couple days though. I'll be out there as well... either Bell or T-10 again. side derby for SFBC bragging rights?

You're on buddy, which boat you gonna be on?

Wed: Low slack - dead. High Slack - lights came on and everyone seemed to hit them but me...

Well Demco, I hate to bring it up but as you saw at the dock last night our 22lb white spring and even our 5.5 lb pink won the derby ;)

There were a few springs being netted at the Bell Buoy last night. We got ours at 60 ft and a chovie in green glow teaser head. The wind made things a little difficult out there but it started to calm down as the sun was dropping. Killer moon over Vancouver skyline as well for our ride back into the marina.

Nice work getting that fish Cory.. I was dissapointed the 2 people on my boat weren't willing to keep zipping over to T10.. See ya out there this weekend!

Started a T-10 and then worked my way south yesterday. Boxed 3 nice Springs and lost 2 others, including a big one right at the boat, that we fought for about 15 mins. Choives and white hoochie at 30 to 60 feet. Here's a couple of photos of my buddy who was with me and his 2 Springs.

Nice slabs cohochinook.. Still learning the T10/Sandheads area, what tide were you getting your action on? Mine was all on the end of the ebb and low slack sunday morning - I'm guessing you were getting them on the low slack around 1230 yesterday? cheers.. still trying to figure out how tides affect T10/Sandheads fishery, which way water moves and which way to tack on certain tides etc, from what I've gather so far the low slack is the best for these spots which is the opposite of what I usually fish at Cap/Bell Buoy(Flood+High Slack)..

Fished North Arm yesterday with Angelina Summer. We got out to the mouth at 5:00 pm and had two nice springs on within 20 minutes. Big whites that fought like freight trains.

Fished for a couple more hours and boxed an 8lb jack spring, released a sockeye and had a few hits that didn't stick. Action was on needlefish hootchies and anchovies at 50-60 feet.

We hit one prior to the low slack and then 4 others after going into the flood, but well before the high.

Good work cohochinook! I will be out there this evening (sandheads- T10)... First time with braided scotties

Boxed an 18lb white and a 14lb red off the North Arm Jetty last night.
Was like lake fishing out there!
Bite came on after 6:30pm at 30-40'.
Anchovies got lots of action hitting the Springs,Pinks, 3 Sockeye and a variety of grilse.

Who else is going to join me at T10 tmrw for the 2:20PM low slack? Might even get out for the high slack at 8:25AM and fish right through the ebb, depends what's in the cards tonight. Call me on the VHF or cell if you see me you out there!

I might try and sneak around the wind out there for bright and early. Want to try and last the high slack. Then hightail it out if the wind picks up. In a small dark grey alaskan. Gotta catch my buddy his first salmon of the year.
