2021 Vancouver-Howe Sound-Sechelt Reports Thread

Well, yeah. Couldn’t fit the stack of flashers in the frame. ;)
I have moved to electronics lately and have had great success with this one. This model allows for many different hookup options using the built in connector eyes. Plus if used properly other boaters will know what direction you are headed, great for the cap mouth area.

Im pretty sure Gibbs owns Rhys. All 7 of the companies used to make their gear in Canada. Gibbs then buys them out. Then start producing Chinese products. That's why I start looking around and found guys like ap tackle. I will buy the Canadian made Gibbs stuff but avoid the Chinese made big box crap. However I'm guilty of using the skinny g herring aid. I also use krippled teaser heads. Once you try them your never go back. Made in sooke.
You don’t find the roll to quick on the krippled teaser ?

I notice absolutely no difference in the roll. But the krippled p teaser heads have a hole in the pin head. You rig your setup through the hole. So you never lose the pin. It's always with the head. I also found out they glow longer. Using the dark room test. But I generally run a uv head because I'm typically up top when fishing bait.

For Vancouver Harbour and related local areas, what would be your one “go-to” flasher for winter salmon trolling? Just one, lure not included, interested if there is a consensus here. I have many already, just looking for the common theme.
