I could be wrong but here’s my math, $58,000 x 1.5 x 12% tax = $98,000 to get it home in BC. I guess you could work the tax numbers on the hull, motor and electronics to bring down the tax bill, but that’s a nice newer model as compared to my 1999 Seafarer.
those rear boxes are a pita while working the riggers. great boat, my bud has the 2670 model with twin 200.
Cuddy is small, but works. Sleeps two under 6 feet. We've done two weekend trips to Pender harbour, little dog included. I wouldnt want to spend a week on it.
Tax dance best avoided at the boarder. They often bring up the advertisement and CBSA officer would love nothing more than to go out and look at a boat and to ding a rich guy bringing a boat over. Nice package though, 300 yami's are in short supply. An American will buy it before the weekend is done.

So with a kicker, sounder and a couple of dock lines bumpers it's a 100k boat after tax? Is that even with a trailer? this one comes with a trailer.

GST comes when you register the boat with the feds 3-9 months later if I remember correctly?

It was like 6 years ago but, if my memory serve me well it was 12 %, it was like 3200$ can, for a 22k US boat
