I’ve discovered a new fishing superstition. NEVER take a pic of a seal before heading out! Lines in water from 7:30am to 5:00pm. Skunkeroooo. Started North Arm trolling south. Had a good hit half hour in with nice fish on. Mother Tucker big seal grabs fish. Tried to get on top of it but it wrapped line on engines and end of that story. Trolled all the way to south arm. Several hours down there. Why so many trap minefields this year!!!! Lost focus for 10 minutes and then lost 2 cannonballs. Then trolled all the way back to North Arm. Nada. No Love. But can’t wait to go again!
Club it and you get his daily catch ....

How’s the wind this morning?

Curious as well. It's an hr drive for us to get to the boat ramp. Dad is visiting and wants to fish but doesn't do well in bad chop. If anyone is out at sandheads and can do me a favour and take a pic of water conditions it would greatly help with our decision. I am not familiar with what a 15knot eastery wind does for the sandheads area. Thanks in advance.

Ya, SH

Always tried out deep in 350/400 but that only got me one, the others (ones not landed too..) were inside around 180-200ft heading towards t10.

I also managed a 58cm spring...first time catching a just under at SH.

At SH 3/3 so far, 2 little shakers and a 12lb red. 60 on rigger lemon lime flasher and big chovy. Looks like other having decent action as well.

...edit: just got a 16 white

Fished SH Thursday afternoon 100-200 contour at the usual 40-60 downriggers. Caught one just over 30. Line peeled out so far I thought it was sealed.... then it fell asleep and came gently to the boat where we massaged it’s scalp and tucked it in the cooler for a rest.
friday was slow with a 8 pounder for 4 hours.

Pic is friend and his boy
