Hi there,

Just wondering what lakes are good fishing on Vancouver Island that don't have motor restrictions. I have been to Cowichan Lake a few times but wondering what others to try.

Go to maps of VI and look for bodies of water. Start from there.

Okay thanks for the tips. I tried Buttle lake this weekend. It was a bit wet but managed to get 2 in the boat. Had the whole place to myself

Victoria Lake near Port Alice is an excellent lake. Very little pressure and some good size rainbow, cutthroat and dollys
