Hey guys,

I know there are pre-fab t-tops and bimini tops etc... But I haven't been able to find anything on pre made bow rails. Anyone have any advice / info? Website?

Cheers

I think it would be difficult to pre make bow rails. There are so many different flairs widths curves but I'm probably wrong

I build them at work. Every boat is different and we have many jigs we use to get the bases to fit correctly. That's for welded rails. You can by the bolt together fittings to build railing but will still need to hand bend the long pieces of tubing to form the rail. Our rails are machine bent on the ends then in the centre at around 110 degrees then we hand bend them to a cardboard pattern. Finally stanchions are cut and milled at the correct angles and we assemble them on the jig. Most of the same steps would apply to using the fittings. Probably cost almost the same for a welded rail as to buy the fittings and tubing but I'm not positive about that.
