WTB Seastar 1.7 hydraulic helm

Thanks Ship. Good information.
As I have described previously on this forum, I bought a new 23’ boat in 2017. Its steering seemed a bit stiffer than I like, most noticeably when doing multiple back and forth turns (docking). I discovered that it had a Pro helm and, because I’m an old guy who likes fingertip steering, I swapped it out for a standard 1.7 helm. The boat came from the manufacturer with a standard 5345-3 cylinder. I don’t know which hoses they used. When I swapped to a 1.7 helm, the steering seemed to get about 20% easier. The Pro helm worked fine, was just a bit stiffer.
If someone wants it, it’s a deal at $400 and comes with s.s. 90 degree fittings and mounting hardware.

i also put a pro 2.0 helm in a boat and was a stiffer feel than i liked, i think a 2.0 with power steering would be great
