What derbies did you take part in last year? How were they and will be in them again this year? I am just finishing my total refit of my boat and can't wait to get back out. Which got me thinking about last years and this years soon to be approaching fishing adventures. Look forward to hearing about last years adventures and those planned for this year.

I know for me it was the best derby I was in was the one in Browns Bay. The fishing was great, company was great, and best of all, it raised money for Charity. I know I will be there again this year and hope to see you all there to!

Cheers ME

Happy Hookin!!!

My favourite derby was a private one with about 20 freinds for a buddy's stag up at Nootka Sound. We slayed the fish and had a blast doing it. The weather was great and the company was great too.

When is that Browns Bay Derby? What was the cost?

Labour Day derby is always good. Lots of fish, but watch out for the Cone Heads!! They don't f%*k around.

The juan de fuca derby is a lot of fun for us and a bunch of my friends we all camp at the marina very fun socially eat and drink way too much Right "theres one" LOL LOL

My favourite derby last year was the Coho Derby at Port Renfrew early last October. Everyone puts in $20, and the winner takes all - last year's prize was $10,600! Catching those plentiful, big, fiesty hoes is fun enough, let alone the large cash prize.

Sharp hooks and full traps!
