Good morning SFBC forum denizens. After a few years of Sportfishingbc.com languishing in limbo, last night we posted our new site to the internet. We want to start by giving you all our sincere thanks for staying onboard and maintaining our site traffic while we went through changes that started with departure of one of the original two partners and the arrival of a new one. This happened last summer and started the wheels rolling on the overhaul of the site. We owe a debt of gratitude to our webmaster Chris who's insight, tireless commitment, and knowledge of the latest technologies has enabled us to maintain the heart and soul of the original site while building into it a number of new features that we hope you'll appreciate.
We also welcome SportfishingBC television host Mark Pendlington into the tent. Besides the obvious similarity in the names of our two different media endeavours, we believe that Mark's expertise, integrity and widely acknowledged respect in the sport fishing world provides the opportunity for an association that will tell the stories of our great industry to a much greater audience.
Still, it comes back to you, our forum users....your passion, knowledge, humour, and willingness to share all of it is what has sustained our traffic to the extent that we can launch our new site safe in the understanding that we enjoy strong positioning on the major search engines when people seek to learn about the amazing recreational fishing opportunities in beautiful B.C. Thanks go also to Kelly, our forum moderator. He's the one who keeps us all honest while maintaining constant vigilance against those who might seek to abuse the privilege of discussion.
