Well we are in the middle of getting the new cabin set up in Renfrew after selling the old one. My wife is looking for a bit of a feature table to be built for the kitchen. Most likely a slab/epoxy style of table and not overly big. Anyone out there know of any good builders on the Island? I see a few on-line but wondering if anyone has had any work like this done lately.

We bought ours from Steve Wilgoose on the sunshine coast. He logs his own off the beaches and ours is western red cedar off halfmoon bay and then dries his slabs for 2 years in his shop. When you're looking also look underneath the table, lots of guys leave it quite rough and it shreds up your jeans etc.

Ya hes not on the island but we were super pleased...and ya it was an epic pita to move, super heavy and we almost dropped it.
