Cheers All,
At the SFAB meeting in Port Alberni the sockeye numbers were discussed. If memory serves me correctly last year there was a forecast run of around 400,000 fish and this year's run is forecast about 550,000 fishing and the general consensus from DFO is that there will be openings and fish the same as last year.
*I looked for my notes but cannot find them but, if this is critical, I know several others that were there and I am sure one of them has a better filing system than me.
