Do we already know the dates for the upcoming King Tides? This came up on my feed, any idea if it is accurate?

A quick look at the Victoria tide tables says the dates in 2023 are some [but not all] of the highest tides of the next 3 months. Seems like there are comparable tides a day before or after the dates your feed gave. I didn't check the 2024 dates.

I had a great day fishing in the kayak for winters during a king tide last January. The bait was pinned up against the 115' shelf at Whirl and the fish followed. Best two hours all winter. I'm not sure if this sort of thing was an anomaly, but it's one piece of info in the search for patterns.

It was fun to walk up the boat ramp to get down to my boat this morning to check on it. COV crew were monitoring the boat ramps and docks at Vanier.

🤣🤣

I thought they were repairing "upgrading" it?
It should be totally redone properly with sheltered water at all tide grade. Maybe getting rid of the Parks Board will help. Lol Nice little cove in front of the Maritime museum if it's not doable where it is but I guess the wooden boat cult has that all tied up for themselves.

I had to come back in with some heavy easterly wind and nasty water and it was dangerous. Just **** house luck it all went ok but should not have to be a crap shoot to wrecking your boat.
