Very frustrating. I know exactly how you feel.I see that as a major accident waiting to happen. I never steer facing backwards and I’m sure no one fishing with me will remember the steering is backwards. This will cause an accident in tight waters. Fundamentally, it’s not what I asked for nor discussed several times with the installer. If they couldn’t install it correctly, they should have told me before I spent thousands $$ installing a new hydraulic system to connect the main to the kicker! Throughout this podding process, I’ve been astounded how many things the expensive “professionals” screwed up and have been defensive instead of apologizing and fixing it!
I also gave it more thought and realized it was while watching a Tuna show where they regularly backed down on the fish. It was in that case where it kind of made sense.
Sorry, I realize this isn't helping the situation whatsoever.
