Looks like the sockeye that stack sometimes in august when the flow is to warm. As an aside i was suprised that in terms of numbers the glory days of the canal were not historically that long ago. The early-mid 90s had by far the largest returns.

I didn't realize that some carp could jump like that. They must be coming 4-5ft out of the water.
