Hot Weather Bass

It's my first season bass fishing and im wondering what a good technique to use for smallmouths on a hot day is.I believe they hang out around docks (and other structures) and shaded areas, but im not sure if im right on this one.Any tips on where and how to fish will be appreciated!

yup, stick around the shade and structures. Larger logs and branches and especially under docks. if ur fly fishin cast a nice big black leech parallel with the dock and as close to it as possible. I havent been out yet this season but ive had good success in quenell lake in the past around this time of year.
